Betting Guides
Everything you need to know about football betting, from the basics to advanced strategies.
An accumulator (or "acca") combines multiple selections into a single bet. All selections must win for the bet to pay out. The odds multiply together, creating higher potential returns — but also higher risk.
Example: 3-fold Accumulator
Arsenal to win1.80
Barcelona to win1.50
Bayern to win1.40
Combined odds3.78
100 kr stake × 3.78 = 378 kr return (278 kr profit). But if ANY leg loses, you lose the entire stake.
Key concepts
- Legs: Each individual selection in the accumulator
- Combined odds: All leg odds multiplied together
- Correlation: Some legs are correlated (e.g. two teams in the same league). GoalSignal's Acca Builder uses a copula model to account for this
- Implied probability: 1 / combined odds = your chance of winning (before margin)
